Making Dream Stairs A Reality

JGJ Enterprises creates stair moldings that compliment your custom flooring. This is done by utilizing the same material used on the rest of the floor, producing a matching staircase every time. As contractors, we were constantly looking for new ways to help in remodeling homes that resulted in beautiful and long-lasting surfaces. Eventually, we had a customer request the need for a rounded stair nose, and we got to work in developing a way to create them. As time went on, we realized that we had something unique and could offer this on a larger scale.

We understand the limitations of the currently available products, including back-orders, shipping times, and shipping costs and offer a solution. We pay close attention to details, and use high-quality materials to fulfill the goals of the project. We are a company local to Utah that creates custom-molded stair treads from luxury vinyl planking. We can take most vinyl flooring (SPC) and mold it into rounded or squared stair treads, as well as L-bends for stair landings. Each order is custom molded with your custom flooring to ensure a perfect match for the project. Most orders have a turn around time of 3-5 business days. We primarily sell our custom molded stairs through flooring stores and local installers. In addition, We will also work with interior designers, contractors, homeowners and business owners to accommodate your specific project. Each project will be unique, varying from project to project.

However, In general, our process is:

-The customer selects the Luxury Vinyl flooring at their local flooring store (or via contractor)

-The project is measured and flooring is ordered

-Stair order is placed for the number of stairs needed, and the appropriate number of flooring pieces are included in the customer’s order

-Flooring is dropped off at our warehouse locate at 150 w 1400 e, Salt Lake City, Utah (pick-up options may be arranged)

-We mold the stair nose to your customer’s specifications

-Stairs are picked up or delivered upon completion

-Installation is performed by the installer or DIYer

FAQ’s:

What materials can be used to make custom molded stairs?

We work with vinyl flooring products including SPC and vinyl core. We cannot mold wood-core flooring at this time. We are happy to test your flooring to see if it's a right fit for our process.

What is the turn-around time?

Most orders can be completed in 3-5 business days. Custom and larger orders will require more time.

Can you make different shapes?

Yes, we can make both square nose and rounded nose stairs, as well as L-bends for landings. We have created some unique custom shapes as well.

Is there a pricing difference for different material types?

No, the only pricing difference is for longer flooring pieces (over 4 ft) or custom orders outside of our normal scope.

Can you install the stairs?

We do not do installs. We recommend talking to the flooring stores to find a reliable installer.

Can we get samples for our store?

Absolutely! We are happy to create samples at no charge to you when you provide us with your commonly sold flooring materials. We can usually make 8-10 samples from a 4 foot flooring piece. We will also test any material for you free of charge.
